Kevin Durant Opened Up About Russell Westbrook

Basketball.network - KD opened up about how he tried to reconnect with Russ during the All-Star Game, but the cameras got in the way. 
 
"I wanted to ask Russell, 'How's your family doing, how you feel,' like stuff that normal people talk about,' Durant recalled. "But there were so many cameras watching us. 'What are they talking about, they are looking at each other, they not even say hi.' It's crazy, it was just making me sick.

Dwight Howard Signs With Big 3

LOS ANGELES – Dwight Howard signs with the Los Angeles Riot and will play his final season of professional basketball with the BIG3 in summer 2025.

Dwight Howard will tip off the league’s eighth season on Saturday, June 14, 2025, in Chicago, IL at Allstate Arena at 4pm ET, live on CBS.

I think getting Dwight Howard is a big deal for Ice Cude in the BIG3 this year. The experience and star quality he can bring to the BIG3 going to be a big deal. What game you want to see this year in the BIG3? Comment below.

UConn Dominates South Carolina For 12th Championship

Uconn girls just won the national championship VS South Carolina at Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL.

12th national championship for Geno Auriemma and the Uconn Huskies and Paige Bueckers 1st championship on her way out to the WNBA.

A little about Paige Bueckers:

Freshman Phenom (2020-2021): Her freshman season was historic. She became the first freshman to win all four major national women's college player of the year awards (Wade Trophy, Naismith Trophy, AP Player of the Year, and USBWA Player of the Year). She led UConn to the Final Four and set program records for freshman assists and single-game assists.

Sophomore Season and Injury (2021-2022): She missed a significant portion of her sophomore season due to a left knee injury but returned to help UConn reach the National Championship game.

ACL Injury (2022-2023): Bueckers missed her entire junior season after tearing her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in the offseason. This was a significant setback, interrupting her promising career.

Honor Huff Will Enter Transfer Portal | #UpDate New Home For Huff

Chattanooga, TN - Honor Huff will enter the transfer portal after winning the NCAA NIT championship. Huff led all of Division I this season with 131 made 3-pointers, will have one year of eligibility remaining. (Time to get paid)

Huff help led Chattanooga Mocs to a 29-9 record this year tying a program record for most wins.

Huff will capitalize on his successful season in the transfer portal with a great NIL deal from a bigger school. This has become a big deal in college sports. Former Panthers linebacker Dean Wells Dies at 54

CHARLOTTE, NC — Dean Wells passed away Thursday morning, following a two-year battle with cancer.

He was 54 years old.

Wells was a standout at the University of Kentucky in the SEC. Dean Wells sit a record for most sacks in a game with 5.0, a record that still stands to this day.

Dean Wells played nine years - with 529 tackles, 2.5 sacks, six forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, and three interceptions in his career.

Dean Wells is survived by his wife Lisa, and two sons.

Chattanooga Mocs Won The 2025 National Invitation Tournament (NIT) Championship

Indianapolis,IN - The Chattanooga Mocs won the 2025 National Invitation Tournament (NIT).

 

The Mocs defeated UC Irvine in a dramatic overtime game with a final score of 85-84, the game was played at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
 
The Mocs matched the deepest postseason run in SoCon history with West Virginia finishing as NCAA runner-up in 1959.
 
The Mocs finished the season with a 29-9 record, tying a program record for most wins.
 
Will the Mocs be in the final rankings after the Final Four? Will Dan Earl be back as coach? Time will tell.
